I had an MRI and there was a tumor. I then had a biopsy, which came back as mesenchymal chondrosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Because it was rare, the only treatment was to remove it, and my eye, so that’s what I did.

Once, I relearned how to walk, talk and move, I was put in outpatient therapy and was allowed to go home. My eye doctor was hopeful that my eye would go back into its place on its own after a year or so.
