Tell us a little about yourself:

I’m a 22-year-old who loves to raise awareness about Retinoblastoma recently! Making others aware of what it actually is, and hoping to save someone's life one day.

What’s your eye story?

I was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma in 2002 at the age of 2.5 years old after my Mum noticed a glow in my right eye, I received my first ever prosthetic at the age of 3 years old. I’ve been wearing one every day since my diagnosis.

What has been the most challenging mentally?

I was so young when I got diagnosed so I was used to having just one eye and a prosthetic eye on the right side.

Where are you now in your recovery?

I’m 19 years into recovery now and I’m coping very well with my prosthetic eye.

What advice would you give to someone going through their eye impairment journey?

Stay strong! Don't let it hold you back! You can show the world who you really are by embracing your differences.
