California Proposition 65 Warning Page

What is Proposition 65?

California's Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) maintains the list of chemicals subject to Proposition 65 requirements. The list contains hundreds of chemicals. For more information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

EYEHESIVE Proposition 65 Warning

⚠️ WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including lead and mercury, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

This warning applies to Vision Defense Formula and may apply to other EYEHESIVE products as indicated on their individual product labels.

Why Does This Warning Appear?

The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean that a product is unsafe. California's warning standard is among the most stringent in the world, and businesses must provide a warning if a product could expose someone to a listed chemical at even very low levels. Many everyday products carry Prop 65 warnings.
